Kınalıada is the closest island to Istanbul. Because of copper and iron mines, It has a reddish color. The people says Kınalıada (Henna Island in Turkish) because of the reddish color. The climate is harsher than the other islands. So the woodland is poorer than the other Princes' Islands.
