http://en.wikipedia.org — The Khedive Palace (Turkish : Hıdiv Kasrı) located on the Asian side of Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey, was a former residence of Khedive Abbas II of Egypt.
Abbas Hilmi Pasha (reigned 1892-1914), the last Khedive (Ottoman governor) of Egypt and Sudan, commissioned Italian architect Antonio Lasciac assisted by Delfo Seminati, to built a summer residence at Bosphorus. Today after conversion, it serves as a stylish restaurant.

It has one of the biggest gardens of roses in Istanbul. The grove around it is a good place for jogging.

On special days (eids, national holidays etc) you can find a rich buffet of traditional Turkish foods at very reasonable prices. I was there last night (29th of October - Republic Day) to enjoy the dinner.
